In fact, since the inception of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913, the Dollar has lost over 96% of its purchasing power.

About 15 years ago I started to be interested in the world of finances, economics and investing. I found particularly interesting traditional Austrian school of economics ( the works of Von Mises, Rothbard, among others) and the basic principles of sound money.
I understood the importance of a real form of money that can be considered also a valid store of value over time.
This also introduced me to the dangers of fiat currencies for the common man in the street.

Almost 30 fiat currencies have failed miserably since the beginning of our experiment with money and exchanging value and goods. Simply put, gold and -in many ways- silver, are the only real form of money that have stood the test of time for thousands of years. Silver means literally money in half a dozen languages, and offers also the benefits of being the second most used commodity on the planet, with over 10,000 uses and still counting.
   Gold and silver are the best asset class and “antidote” against high inflation, currency debasement (courtesy of your truly THE FED) and the wild fiscal irresponsibility of our indebted governments.

Gold and silver nowadays are one of the best answer to all of this and put the holders of precious metals in the special position of being their own central bank without any counterparty risks.
